
Jeni Henen specializes in a number of holistic disciplines. Her career and experience span two decades, and include an exploration and study of multiple cultures and holistic practices, that have fed her passion for health and well-being.
In 2003, Jeni was accepted as a student-apprentice to Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai, in the ancient practice of Chinese Massage. Simultaneously, Jeni began her study and exposure to Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In each was found a greater understanding and gratitude to the capacity and magnitude of life, upon which Jeni’s holistic practice was grounded.
In 2008, Jeni and her husband relocated from South Africa to California where during Jeni’s first pregnancy she became further acquainted with the practice of Ayurveda, the science of life. Specifically, Jeni became fully aware of the impact of Ayurvedic nutrition to one’s health, well-being and circumstances.
In the subsequent decade since, Jeni has formalized her dedication to the holistic disciplines by obtaining a Masters in Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition, moreover attaining her qualification as Gong Master.
As an Ayurvedic practitioner Jeni has successfully consulted with clients world-wide, educating and instilling in each an awareness and understanding of the digestive system, while demonstrating the very positive influence an Ayurvedic approach can have.
Additionally, as a Gong Master, Jeni uses the gong’s resonating sound to induce a spontaneous meditative space, quieting mental chatter and offering an opportunity for expanded awareness, increased vitality and healing. The natural state of a “singing” gong, uses sounds and vibrations to create deep relaxation and a state of meditation.
Recently, Jeni was instrumental in introducing Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Leading several workshops and classes for woman, Jeni taught that Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness and available for everyone who wants to develop the skills to cope successfully with the challenges of our times.
Jeni has lived in Johannesburg, London, San Diego, Nevis, Washington DC, Riyadh and Turks and Caicos, with home base in the Ticino region of Switzerland, together with her husband and two daughters.
